I have over 40 years experience in the high vacuum industry.Mr Morgan, my careers teacher, predicted my future - at just 10 years old he told me I had engineer's hands! 🖐️But it wasn’t until I was 17 that I realised I was drawn to scientific engineering jobs. I started an apprenticeship and soon had a lucky break being invited to learn to weld.That was it - my obsession with Tig Welding and perfect welds began!This has now become known as the ‘Rick Standard’ - which means every weld we do is 100% vacuum leak tested, every time. I founded Tigfusion https://www.tigfusion.com in 2012, as a specialist high/ultra-high vacuum industrial machinery manufacturer: 🔴 My core aim was, and still is, to design, manufacture and deliver products on time, with the highest quality workmanship. The UHV industry has been blighted for many years by products rarely being delivered when expected.🔴 I always get a massive buzz from problem solving the design for a bespoke UHV chamber and sending out a spotlessly clean and beautifully crafted product. We’ll always review your sketches and CAD drawings or create them for you.🔴 We have a great team of specialists and genuine engineering enthusiasts.
