Rick White is the President of Mark’s, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Bringing more than 35 years of experience to the role, Mr. White is widely regarded as one of the strongest and most accomplished retailers in the country. In his role as President, Mr. White has responsibility for all operations at Mark’s with a mission to drive growth through all the Company’s business segments.Mr. White has a strong background in licensing, product development, sourcing and production for both controlled and private-label brands, such as Dakota, Wind River and Denver Hayes. In addition to his accountably at Mark’s, Mr. White also oversees business operations for INA wholesale, which develops, sources and imports private-label and exclusive products for the Canadian Tire Family of Companies. Prior to his current role, Mr. White was Chief Merchandising Officer & Senior Vice-President at Mark’s and FGL Sports where he was responsible for setting the merchandising strategy, product assortment, budgets and vendor direction for the companies’ retail banners. Having spent the bulk of his executive career in the sporting goods industry, he is an avid sportsman, golfer and skier.
