The Armory Studios is a small, private music and production studio in Raleigh, NC. As owner, operator and head audio engineer, I maximize all available resources to create an environment of possibilities for emerging musicians, podcasters and other artists. I apply complex audio mastering, soundscape design and Foley techniques to take a project from absolute ethereal idea to actualized, delivered products. I also manage all day-to-day aspects of a working studio, including sales, marketing, scheduling and financials. • Create scores, theme songs, jingles, songwriting, music, videos and podcasts, including musical numbers for “Weed the People,” “Oceanside” and “Call Sign Romeo.” • Mix down multilayered vocal and spoken tracks for music, podcasts and vlogs. • Manage the daily schedule of the studio proper, including creative sessions, instrument setup, breakdown and tracking and one-on-one coaching. • Create marketing campaigns both for the studio and for emerging artists to support client success. • Invest in talent development through consistent instrumental, vocal, songwriting and stage presence lessons and coaching. • Lead vocal coaching and acting lessons for podcasters. • Deliver basic Foley work and sound FX recordings. • Produce cinematography framing with a focus on interesting angles and choices to build visual stories that are relatable for audiences. Use Divincii Resolve, Fimora Go and/or Hitfilm to edit video to match pacing to mood and story. • Operate 3 point gimble alongside stationary cameras for one-take shots that deliver. • Host live streaming events, including emcee work for virtual productions. • Write and release social media campaigns for studio to promote upcoming releases, video packages, live shows and other cross-media productions. • Provide video overdubbing that adds exposition to short- and long-form video projects, including character acting as needed.

Wake Family Eye Care is a high-end, specialty eye care center in Cary, NC. As an optical consultant, I help about 100 people per week find the right fit and style to suit their lens needs and budget. • Engage guests to ensure they are knowledgeable about how each vision correction device works. Adjust their glasses for fit and comfort. • Analyze both Eyemed and Vsp insurances to ensure each patient has maximized their benefits while getting the best possible experience from their eyewear. • Perform quality control for incoming jobs using both manual and automatic lensometers to confirm the accuracy of prescriptions. • Deliver eyewear to patients. Using my own brand of edutainment, show patients how to get the most out of their eyewear. • Operate and maintain edging machine to create on-site, custom-fit lenses quickly.

As graphics creator, I design bespoke and mass-produced clothing, collateral, graphics for video production, logos and templates for small-business clients. • Create and launch accessible, viable designs targeting Nerd culture. • Promote designs to proper audiences through online storefronts. • Manage bookkeeping and product refreshes based on sales performance.
