Managed environmental remediation construction projects from project estimating/proposal to all aspects of project management and execution to final project closure.• Managed the environmental remediation of the Hanlin-Allied-Olin Superfund Site in Moundsville, WV which included the construction of two on-site double-lined disposal cells and the excavation and disposal of 530,00 cy of hazardous waste, contaminated waste and debris. The project had a duration of 7 years totaling $43 million in revenue.• Managed the environmental remediation of the Novelis OU-1 North Ponds in Oswego, NY which included the excavation, the stabilization, and off-site disposal of 59,000 cy of PCB-contaminated soil and sediment from several marshes and ponds on the shore of Lake Ontario followed by backfilling and site restoration including wetlands. The project had a duration of two years totaling $11.3 million in revenue.• Managed the environmental remediation of a former plant disposal site at an active chemical plant in Lawrence, Kansas previously owned and operated by FMC Corporation. The project included the demolition of an existing concrete pad followed by the installation of pump and extraction groundwater treatment components to treat dissolved arsenic in the groundwater followed by the installation of a concrete pad to handle heavy industrial traffic and an asphalt parking lot. One of the chemical contaminants in the disposal site was white phosphorous which immediately ignited upon exposure to oxygen.

Reviewed and evaluated innovative environmental technologies for site investigations and remedial activities.

Managed environmental remediation construction projects from project estimating/proposal to all aspects of project management and execution to final project closure.• Managed projects for an extensive list of commercial clients and federal and state agencies• Managed projects that ranged from high hazard emergency response to multi-year million dollar projects• Managed the environmental remediation of the former Black Hills Army Depot in Igloo, SD for the USACE which included the excavation and on-site treatment and stabilization of 12,000 tons of soil contaminated with hexavalent chromium. The treatment process converted the hexavalent to trivalent chromium which reduced the level of disposal from a hazardous waste to non-hazardous waste.• Managed the environmental remediation of the Morgan Materials chemical warehouse in Buffalo, NY which contained 20,612 containers of second hand chemical product which included 55-gallon drums, cubic yard boxes, and bags. The project included waste characterization testing and segregation into compatible waste streams for transport and disposal. • Managed the environmental remediation of the Madisonville Creosote facility in Madisonville, LA for the USACE which involved the demolition of several buildings and structures, including 15 aboveground storage tanks and three large retort vessels. Managed the transport and disposal of 370 tons of creosote sludge, 8,000 gallons of creosote product, 625 tons of contaminated concrete, 250 tons of metal, and 200 cubic yards of creosote-treated wood.
