Worked as a delivery consultant for CSC. Primarily, I was responsible and leader of the FAST search implementations at many of CSC's premier clients. These included Chevron and Baker and Taylor.

Joined Microsoft though acquisition of FAST Search and Transfer. During role mapping, received the highest position of all employees at our site. Key contributor to FAST Search for SharePoint architecting a secure communications pipe for all incoming search queries. This secure pipe was developed using the latest .NET WCF technology and claims based authentication. This service runs in a highly available search farm and is the entry point for all end user communication. Lead a team to increase query throughput and scalability. Succeeded in increasing performance by over 90%.Following the acquisition, led a ten week training course on .NET programming to help other engineers learn this environment. In addition, participated in many meetings with Microsoft groups performing knowledge transfer on our search products.

Lead several new software development efforts. Architected desktop search application to integrate customer’s desktops with an enterprise search back end. This included creating and leading a top development team, gathering requirements, visiting with customers, and working daily with product management. This product was brought to market in less than a year and had and ROI of 15 months. Following the announcement of the Microsoft acquisition, this software was selected to be divested. Worked with the product management to create a list of leads and then pitched the sale of this asset to several independent software firms and venture capitalists in Massachusetts and Utah. This resulted in multiple on-the-table offers.

Lead a development effort to design and deliver a web based document management software system. The software was based on FAST search technology and Microsoft ASP.NET.
