Rick joined First Command Financial Services in San Antonio, TX as a Financial Advisor in January 1988. He previously served 7 years in the Regular Army, 14 years in the Army Reserves as a “weekend warrior”, and 10 years in the recruiting and head-hunting arena. After 5 years with First Command in San Antonio, Rick managed New York State for 3+ years, then a large office in Newport News, Virginia for 3+ years before coming to roost back in San Antonio in 1999. Rick is from New Jersey and Connecticut.A graduate of the Nation’s oldest private Military College, a 2 year ROTC Scholarship recipient, Distinguished Military Graduate and recipient of a Regular Army Commission, Rick hold’s Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 Securities Licenses as well as a State of Texas Life and Health Insurance License. Rick is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute, and GAMA International, an association for leadership development in the financial services industry.
