The overall goal of the project was to increase the understanding of whether the nickel-base INCONEL Alloy 690 can become susceptible to stress corrosion cracking from weld-induced deformation since cold deformation appears to cause such an effect. Investigated the effects of a post weld heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties in Sanicro 68HP, a weld filler metal for the Inconel Alloy 690 family.The work was later published in Welding in the World: https://doi.org/10.1007/s40194-014-0201-4
