About Rick Baker

ARUP gave me the golden opportunity to discover the awesome world of Salesforce, where I transitioned from Java to Apex, JavaServlet Pages to Visualforce and learned other great Salesforce technologies.I cannot remember a single bad day at Impartner where I could not wait to start my morning each day. Impartner gave me the opportunity to learn how to produce commercial 1st generation managed packages that use dated multi-currency fields and are fully internationalized.Came away from Castlight with some valuable experience mostly in the areas of Apex, LWC. OWDs and governor limits. Had to take a year off to deal with some serious family issues. At Take2IT Consulting LLC, I joined a great team of developers transforming a tool used by the Department of Veteran Affairs from Salesforce classic to Lightning LWC on the Experience cloud. Sometimes, however, events beyond our control can lead to refreshing change and tremendous personal growth, and I am currently looking for my next great gig.I am currently working as a Sr. Salesforce Engineer with Infor, on a project team that is transforming old legacy applications to the Salesforce Lightning experience.
