This position involved the porting of the Bank of America “Military” project (for U.S. service personnel) to the latest version of Financial Fusion eCommerce Foundation (API), the company’s Java based web-banking software library. Tasks included: converting HTML pages into JSPs and tying them into backend Servlets and EJBs; debugging through current and legacy Servlets/EJBs; and occasional light work with the IBM WebSphere Application Server, DB2 and Oracle databases. This project required expertise in the areas of Java Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, and XML technologies. My most valuable contribution was the development of a new feature, an on-line Equifax credit-check for bank employees to use in quickly retrieving customer credit reports. I was part of a team that developed a web-based administration tool also used by bank employees.
