I was responsible for the well being of the department, with the service level and the quality standard as my main targets, responsible for revenue and costs and constantly looking for innovations and improvements within the department. From that perspective I managed the numbers to a profitable standard without compromising service and quality. I reported directly to the General Manager and was part of the management team for the hotel.

Without a F&B manager, I held responsibility for the complete department. I was responsible for our beachservice, restaurant and events.My responsibilities included:Scheduling, ordering, staff trainings, hiring staff, monthly numbers ad budgeting, quality control, guest satisfaction and creating the wine menu.

My job was to organize and execute all large, luxury events held at our various catering locations, among which law firms, Corporate Bank and accounting offices and the Dutch house of Senate. In this position I have executed various events, from luxurious private dinners for 10 guests to big events for 500+ guests. Also I have managed the daily operation of various catering locations when the managers were absent.
