South Side Local Development Company is a community based non-profit corporation founded in 1982 whose purpose is to promote the economic revitalization and historic preservation of Pittsburgh's South Side.As Executive Director, personally led or developed $8 million in real estate projects in five years; established the organization's first business plan in its history; and oversaw a $1.5 million budget and staff of 8.

Established the Housing & Community Development program and hired the first professional staff for the department at the $85 million, nationally-recognized non-profit.Facilitated $2 million of rehabilitation to 70 tornado-damaged homes through a partnership with the City of Detroit Planning & Development Department.
