Green Bay Country ClubAssistant SuperintendentDuties include property management and daily cultural practices of turf grass surfaces and support to the Superintendent of this 18 hole Private Club golf facility. Daily routines include but are not limited to properly maintaining extraordinary playing conditions while reporting proper function and performance of mechanical equipment to the equipment manager/mechanic. This position also includes the responsibility of maintaining a team atmosphere while providing a leadership role in educating and mentoring additional team member’s performance to provide the best experience to the clubs membership. Daily inspections of the property may also include reporting any conditions that may require repair including facilities, buildings and structures located within the property and report them directly to the Superintendent and General Manager. NorthBrook Country ClubAssistant SuperintendentDuties include daily support to the Superintendent and cultural practices of the 18 hole facility. Responsibilities include scheduling, mentoring and monitoring of grounds crew staff. This consists of observing and correcting any course conditions to improve the playability while providing the best allowable customer and membership experience. Other facets to the position include acknowledging the proper and safe working order of equipment, this includes making recommendations and perform mechanical adjustment to allow proper daily routine cultural practices to the turf. Duties include actively assisting the Irish Course Superintendents with the daily operations and management task to prepare the links style Pete Dye designed course for the 2014, 2015 playing season. Tasks include utilization of supervision skills to direct a diverse staff of 30 + associates. Performed cultural practices to prepare for the 2015 PGA Championship, daily play and seasonal maintenance of turfgrasses. The Irish course is full of unique challenges as it architecture includes grassland and dunes located along the western shores of Lake Michigan and incorporates four meandering stream within the property.
