Known as an outstanding builder of people and programs Rev. Bliese has adeptly and enthusiastically embraced the challenges theological institutions face and welcomes the future with an impactful and imaginative approach.As a transformational leader who sets strategic vision developing and implementing programs and practices he has delivered positive change supporting organizational growth, mission, and achievement of business goals. Rev. Bliese created ethos, infrastructure, faculty, and curricula to position Lutheran Seminary as one of most respected, cutting edge theological seminaries in the U.S. He was seen as a thought leader and visionary at the In Trust Center who devised new and creative programs to strengthen institutions’ brand and visibility, enable access to new and underserved populations, and address need for change and sustainability. Initiatives include resource consulting, online / distance learning and continuing theological education programs, curriculum reinvention, graduate education expansion, online and creative fundraising campaigns.Rev. Bliese earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University, Master of Divinity from Christ-Seminary, Master of Theology and his Th.D.(PhD.) in Theology from the Lutheran School of Theology.
