* Managed engineering and production activities for the Cast Iron Foundry and Sleeve Machining. * Orchestrated teardown and reengineering of seven production work centers to produce critical parts in response to customer needs.* Exceeded production goals set by customers despite limited headcount.

Managed day-to-day activities in the Cast Iron Foundry, including all production, maintenance and engineering needs. * Led a team in developing a new production process for the manufacture of Compacted Graphite Iron cylinder liners going from 108 to 375 parts per man hour which reduced scrap from 7% to less than 3%.* Made engineering and operational modifications to bring the Cast Iron Foundry in compliance with the new EPA mandated silica exposure limitations, starting from 50 ug/m3 down to 18 ug/m3 in occupied areas.

Completed multiple large-scale automated machining line moves from other facilities to Lake City.* Applied Lean principles to address the issue of Green Sand Property variations causing scrap to reduce scrap levels from a high of 10% down to 2% over 3 years.* Managed multiple capital projects ranging from 150k to 900k annual capital spending budgets from conception to completion including small budget, in-house improvements to large-scale equipment installations and plant expansions.
