I lead the engineering and product teams (just under 150 employees) for this disruptive technology, financial services company. Under my technical leadership, Inveniam has built a sophisticated AWS hosted enterprise application, for private asset data, and support of tokenization for primary issuance and secondary trading of traditionally illiquid assets. We use blockchain technology not for speculation in crypto currencies, but for concrete, practical value creation for issuers and investors in commercial real estate, private market debt, and other alternative assets. - We've grown from two developers at the beginning, to about 150 as I write this in October of 2022. - We're SOC 2 Type 2 certified, pass penetration tests twice a year, and our code has been rigorously analyzed and approved by third-party security teams. - We now have software development or devops operations on three continents, provided by five vendors, all of which I manage.- Our SDLC has been praised as a model of software engineering excellence.- We have 30 patents issued, 2 allowed, and 36 more pending.- We've conducted tech diligence on a number of potential investments, and closed on four very significant ones, then led technical integration with these ecosystem partners.

GSI Commerce was a leading developer / operator of e-commerce for dozens of large, well-known retailers. Bought by eBay.

ICG was a Public PE/VC company. I led tech diligence on 75 acquisitions, designed the technical architecture that in many ways remains the foundation of B2B e-commerce. Participated in S1 drafting, the IPO, a secondary 6 months later, and had an exciting insider view of the dot-com bubble's collapse.

I was hired to run product management and business development for this pioneering provider of online stock trading software. About a year later I was promoted to President and CEO. We build the first websites that offered retail investors online access to their brokerage accounts, for clients such as PaineWebber, Quick & Reilly, and dozens more. We grew revenue from $7mm to $20mm. The company was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reuters, which eventually absorbed its offerings into the parent.

Hired as VP of Software Development, promoted to CIO 11 months later. SEIC is a public asset management and investment technology company.
