Managed helpdesk and projects for 400+ employees across 13 locations in Eastern US. Main responsibilities included maintaining and programming custom SQL views in ERP system, mobile phone management for over 200 devices, and VMWare Horizon virtual desktop environment administration. Projects included implementation of web filter, on-site backup system, IP security cameras, network infrastructure and windows servers.

Responsible for support and maintenance of custom-developed vehicle test planning and judgment system. Supported users in day-to-day issues within system. Led a weekly project team with database and software developers on issue management and system enhancements and improvements. System database in DB2, user web-interface used Java and Qlikview reporting platform.

Managed a project to consolidate and manage all the software licenses for the entire North American division of Honda R&D. Developed a database system to import and contain the data from 50,000+ inventoried installs from over 3,000 Windows, Linux, and Apple systems across multiple offices across North America. The system will also be used to import and update purchase history in order to maintain proper license counts and reconciliation for making software license management more cost-effective. Other tasks involving the system will include identifying unauthorized and rare-case software, monitoring license usage, and reviewing purchase history.

Initially hired as a Help Desk Administrator, my duties included managing the daily IT work orders for office of 100+ employees in Powell as well as remote offices in Virginia and California. Monitored and performed troubleshooting on all hardware including server systems, networking infrastructure, end user systems, outgoing customer products, telephony & security systems, and mobile devices. In June 2008, promoted to the position of Network Administrator. Additional responsibilities included assisting in procedural compliance required by semi-annual Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO 9001 Audits as well as ITAR compliance, software license auditing, forecasting and adhering to the annual office IT budget, maintaining SQL databases, purchasing and installing new servers, researching new products and technologies, backup and disaster recovery procedures, and all office IT decision-making.

Supported the 35 employees as well as numerous clients. Maintained office servers for file storage, email, ftp, web, and printing. Performed troubleshooting on all technical hardware including networking, workstations, large-format plotter, and peripherals. Managed company-wide internet security, virus protection, and continuous daily backups and periodic archive tapes. Heavily audited all software for CAD, virus protection, office productivity, and other required programs. Other minor tasks included editing AutoCAD drawings, preparing CD media and documentation for clients, researching and recommending products, procedures, and building codes for projects, and obtaining permits and maps from city, county, and state offices.
