Rick was the UI/UX guru at Saepio Technologies. Rick worked with the engineering team in an agile based format. He had ownership of the entire UI/UX process. Created fully styled "pixel perfect" interactive wireframes at a live URL, vetted designs with stakeholders, conducted usability tests, worked closely with the development team, and hand coded CSS and manipulated XHTML markup to polish finished products.He committed changes in his own development environment, used command line interface, improved processes, created documentation, deployed ‘skins’ or ‘themes’ that customized clients’ environments, fixed bugs, constantly looked for ways to improve the user interface, and more. In his role at Saepio as a graphic engineer, Rick worked directly with clients' and teammates to develop templates using Saepio's proprietary software. He developed landing pages, created customized environments for clients', created HTML5 animations, created custom HTML email, managed databases and client meta-data, trained clients' and colleagues, and more.

Ricks responsibilities with GABL included coaching children (K-3rd grade) on the concepts of basketball fundamentals. He also refereed 3 on 3 games while incorporating in-game instruction.

Rick was the pitching coach for the 18U and the 16U Barnstormers elite summer baseball teams. He also had multimedia responsibilities such as shooting photos and videos at each weekend tournament. The photos were edited and posted to the Barnstormers social media pages. The videos were professionally edited to include each players information and display of skills. The videos provide Barnstormers players with maximum exposure to college coaches around the country with one click of the Barnstormers branded YouTube channel.
