Worked within Shimmick's electrical group, detailing point-to-point and as-built drawings in CAD during the closing phases of the $206M Skinner Water Treatment Plant project in Winchester, Ca., followed by a move to the Southern California Operations in Irvine where I was involved with the electrical estimating team, bidding electrical projects in the $10-30M range. Scope of responsibilities included but were not limited to: Negotiating with subcontractors and vendors; Electrical infrastructure; Low voltage systems; Photovoltaic systems; Industrial SCADA and PLC communications; Process control, seismic and pressure instrumentation.• Project bidding schedule involved: Electrical infrastructure; Water treatment facilities; Dams; Bridges; High-voltage distribution and LA Metro light rail.• Experience with HardDollar and Accubid estimating software and database management.• Low voltage systems included surveillance and train signaling.

Managed day to day aspects of high-end residential/light commercial Audio Visual integration business. Key responsibilities included new business development, subcontracts, system engineering and control system programming; Direct oversight and involvement in system design, integration, training and service; Bottom-line responsibility for all AV project management, accounts, subcontractors and stakeholder objectives.• Followed a “lead by example” management approach with great emphasis on managing project risk, detail, accountability and quality.

Led the company from start-up to hosting 1100 domains on 90 servers within 2 years. Directly authored dozens of websites, including high-volume storefronts with online revenues in the mid six-figure range. Through stellar customer support and service, we maintained many client relationships for over 10 years despite industry shake-out in 2000. Led all aspects of Web authoring/hosting business through 2003—included new business development, subcontracts, e-commerce web design, programming and customer support. Bottom-line responsibility for all accounts, upstream vendors and customer retention. Managed web hosting base until its sale in December 2006.
