Led a team of Program Managers and Engineers to meet customer and internal requirements. Liaison between Ford and Hitachi Research Laboratories to facilitate future sales of lithium ion batteries, electric motors, and other hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.• Awarded $25 milion of initial business with new customers Detroit Diesel Corporation (Electronic Throttle Body) and DaimlerChrysler (Mass Air Flow Sensor).• Developed non automotive markets for Hitachi's flow sensor technology with business awards at Ballard (hydrogen powered fuel cell generators) and AlliedSignal (natural gas powered turbine generators).

Grew the mass air flow sensor (MAFS) business with Ford Motor Company and Visteon from $500 thousand to over $60 million per year. Also managed powertrain control modules, MAP sensors, and idle air control valves. • Expanded core MAFS business with Ford to include sub-component and manufacturing equipment sales• Introduced remanufacturing of MAFS to improve margins on service and aftermarket parts• Secured purchase / supply agreements valued at over $300 million
