Rick is an investor in the bank holding company as well as a board member on the bank holding company board and the bank board as it expands to the DFW area and beyond.

Founded and functioned in several roles while guiding First Choice EmergencyRoom (FCER) to become the nation’s largest and oldest network of independent freestandingemergency rooms. This included seven straight years on the “Top 100 Fastest GrowingCompanies in North Texas” and two years on Inc.’s 500/5000 list while Rick was CEO.During this time, the company grew to more than 450 employees and more than $100 million in revenue. FCER provides neighborhood access to emergency medical care. They’re innovative,freestanding, fully-equipped emergency rooms with a complete radiology suite of diagnostic technology and on-site laboratory. Each location is staffed with board-certified physicians andemergency-trained registered nurses.According to patient feedback collected by Press Ganey Associates, FCER provides the highestquality emergency medical care and received the 2013 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence forexceeding the 95 th percentile in patient satisfaction nationwide. FCER is now an Adeptus Healthcompany, following its IPO in 2014.
