Responsible for leading the Company's engagement with McKinsey and Company. Planned and implemented the organizational shift to a shared services model for key support services including finance, marketing, human resources and procurement. Ongoing responsibilities for Business Improvement initiatives including organizational changes with a focus on standardization, and optimization of key activities to increase efficiencies and effectiveness of services. Responsibility for new property acquisitions and integration efforts for five major properties in four states located in the Midwest and East Coast. Coordinated all integration activities between corporate support and property operations. Created and oversaw the closing transition planning, which included engagement with state gaming regulators and stewarded complex transactional approvals needed. Project management of the transactional and integration which enabled the successful transition of all five properties within a 30-day period.

Led the Company’s sourcing and supply chain operations supporting properties located throughout the U.S. Managed a large team in procurement and supply chain, warehousing and laundry operations. Substantially increased scope and reach of procurement activities which unlocked value by leveraging the economies of scale for Boyd. Restructured organizational model to shared services teams located in regional hubs domestically. Built high performance teams, and metrics to measure performance. Created many strategic relationships that enhanced revenues and included strategic sponsorships in Hotel, F&B, Entertainment operations, and financial services.

Worked directly for the CFO and had broad responsibility related to the Company’s finance and treasury functions. Worked on all the Company’s merger and acquisition activity in the Midwest, South Regions. Experience in banking and treasury activities which included new and amended credit facilities as well as renegotiating and refinancing expiring debt agreements. Worked on Boyd's IPO, created and managed the stock incentive plans. During this period, I was promoted to Assistance Vice President and then subsequently to Vice President.
