I serve as program manager for "L.A. vs. Hate," a major anti-hate initiative of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations (LACCHR) through its lead contractor Special Service for Groups, Inc. (SSG), a nonprofit health and human service organization founded in the 1950s and dedicated to building and sustaining community-based programs that address the needs of vulnerable communities.My primary responsibility is to help to manage a rapid response network of provider partners--existing nonprofit community organizations that offer programs and services to victims of hate crimes, hate incidents and bullying.

Taught a two-week afterschool summer class on constitutional history and the law called "Justice and the Law" to 5th and 6th graders. What began as a "camp" on moot court/mock trial turned into an overview on moot court and mock trial. There were not enough students enrolled to form mock trial teams; therefore curricula shifted to providing middle school students introductions to the steps and activities of moot court and mock trial competition. Student projects included graphical project on the Bill of Rights and arguing a case in an appellate court simulation. Developed a similar workshop for adults interested in jurisprudence.

My role as editor and content writer (2007-2011) for the Guest collateral included creation of daily itinerary and destination highlights. These materials had to impart critical trip information to AbD Guests as well as underscore the Disney approach to creating hassle-free, enjoyable and memorable travel experiences. In addition, I produce informational documentation, such as food and beverage pieces, for Adventure Guides to use as "talking points" to guests in the various destinations.

Supervised the design and development of education and marketing collateral for promoting student recruitment and computer learning. Software and applications used were Microsoft Office suite and educational products from Broderbund, Knowledge Adventure, Davidson and Microsoft.Futurekids was acquired by Davidson & Associates in 1996 and is now managed by Edtechtrain.
