My career experience thus far has been a unique intersection of distinct fields with significant overlaps: website design, development and implementation and high-tech marketing; writing, editing and publishing; and computer education and training. My corporate sector experience envelopes mobile software, architectural and interior design, publishing, education and travel. My nonprofit experience covers civil rights, social justice, education, cultural and historic preservation and the arts. Each of these job categories have taught me how effective communications is key in both infrastructural and external environments with regard to successful customer service. Most recently I had the honor to serve as the executive director of the Alhambra Educational Foundation (AEF) from April 2010 to July 2012. Incorporated as a California-based nonprofit organization in September 1993, AEF raises funds to augment the instructional programs for children of the Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD). The AUSD is composed of 13 K-8 schools, three high schools, one continuing education school and one independent school. It serves more than 18,000 students who reside in the cities of Alhambra, Monterey Park, Rosemead and San Gabriel in the Los Angeles County. In late July 2014, I began teaching a course on constitutional law/moot court/mock trial to mainly 4th and 5th graders called "Justice and the Law" at an afterschool learning academy in Arcadia, California. We're hoping to expand the program to include ethics and a Junior Toastmasters program.Specialties: HTML/Cold Fusion programming; working knowledge of PHP, Javascript, Flash and Visio; implementation of product marketing launches; marketing collateral development and production; e-marketing and e-commerce solutions
