"Infrastructure" support has been an integrated part of my 40+ years experience as Senior Technical Team Lead on a wide host of platforms. Though the last 20 years has been devoted to Enterprise Oracle Database support currently in 2020 on three EXADATA X8M(DB V11-19c, GoldenGate, Dataguard, DELPHIX) I was previously an Administrator of Network Firewalls, Operating Systems, Enterprise Backup/Recovery, Security Compliancy, and Disaster Recovery Lead. This propelled me to effectively support 1,000s of databases for Fortune 500 companies with Tera-Bytes of data. "Architecting" large environments as in the migration of an IBM Mainframe to architected UNIX Sun clustered servers and Storage subsystems. Others included DB2 to Oracle and migration strategies for Database Backup and Recovery environments. Participating on Architect and Solution teams for Oracle EXADATA X8M."Team Lead" is an obligation as when I performed Supervisor Responsibilities while writing Staff Performance Reviews, Task Assignments and Project Management along with ensuring Team Standards and Goals while adhering to company protocols and budgets. I love to encourage and motivate team mentoring and camaraderie. These teams would consist of all local U.S. or Off-Shore India/Brazil staff. Consisting of up to 15 DBAs in 24X7 production on-call environments with experience in team project planning concepts like Agile/SCRUM/Iterative/Waterfall/ITIL."Automation" develop and implement using in-house tools and wrote my own code and procedures. Aquired US Government ITAR approval."Project Management" performed on large scale enterprise migrations and upgrades for Operating Systems, Databases and Hardware.
