• Held accountable for successfully maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting workstations/peripherals, communication and handheld devices and other peripherals, following AF Standard Desktop regulations.• Demonstrate advanced skills/knowledge to allow working with the latest office automation software and network operating systems such as Windows (all versions), SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Composite Health Care System (CHCS), and locally developed software.• Verified that all government desktops, peripherals, and components moved or installed into service is fully functional before departing the location. If the customer has data files, documents, or other files on the defective desktop hardware, shall ensure that such files (when not damaged) are transferred to the replacement computer.• Deliver/set-up (when necessary) external peripheral devices including monitors, printers, glare guards, and barcode readers• Responsible for monitoring the Remedy queue to troubleshoot/resolve operational and software problems associated with networked and standalone systems maintained under the WHASC environment; complete desktop service requests using the Enterprise Management/Tracking Systems (EMTS).

• Charged with providing Tier II level help for defined issues and for tickets that were escalated for Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA).• Diagnosed and troubleshot user workstations, telephones, peripherals, networked printers/scanners, and cellular devices; administered proprietary software including Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Internet Explorer, Java, and Adobe.• Configured, deployed, and installed laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices for users/military divisions.

• Worked with customers to provide them with Tier I level assistance for issues/problems and when required, escalated tickets for AFMOA.• Monitored and tracked calls documented issues using Remedy, and the knowledge database to find the best resolutions; work with tickets and follow them through to resolution. • Provided hardware/software support to end-users; installed PC and related peripheral equipment.• Created user accounts, processed moves/transfers, and completed user change forms.
