Rick Garson is an entertainment industry executive with an irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit. He has created, produced, and developed an array of world-renowned entertainment and live events over the course of more than two decades in the industry. While studying , Rick Garson was introduced to the Executive Director Jack Healey from Amnesty International, before offering Rick the opportunity to help produce A Conspiracy of Hope, a tour of six benefit concerts on behalf of Amnesty International, in 1986. It was through this opportunity that he realized his skill in the entertainment industry. Additionally, Rick Garson has worked as the top-flight Executive Producer for a number of events, including the Super Bowl TV Specials, 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics “Divas in Beijing” and Birds Nest “Attraction” show. Notably, Rick created the Billboard Music Awards, leading him to become the President and CEO of Billboard Entertainment. During this time, he had the opportunity to create the Blockbuster Awards and developed and produced all media promotions for the Rolling Stones pay-per-view TV Special in association with the Steel Wheel Tours. The Steel Wheel Tours became the first successful pay-per-view music special in history.Most recently, Rick Garson and his team created VX Entertainment in Beijing, China, which is the first content development studio in the world to combine all of the latest cutting-edge visual technologies under one roof, including MR, VR, AR, Hologram, 3D mapping, living streaming, and more. Additionally, they create, develop, produce and own global media properties and content which is leading the way for the use of live virtual reality environments in entertainment, education, healthcare, automotive, luxury goods, and more.Some of the interactive technologies VX uses is mixed reality, projection mapping, live streaming hologram, augmented reality, and much more. They have recently created an interactive experience called The 2017 Olympic Expo which uses high-tech strategies to inherit and advocate the ideology of the Olympics, as well as support the Olympic industry. As CEO of VX entertainment, Rick is looking to change the landscape and pathing the way for new innovations in the tech space.
