(Contract Position) Developer of wireless data modems. Designed several wireless modems including a 26mm x 25mm Rigid-Flex-Rigid "Half-Mini" modem. Used Qualcomm's .4mm chipset. Strong RF experience.

Prepared formal and informal training programs and discussions for designers, engineers and leadership. Evaluated fabrication vendors for technical capabilities and established new vendors to meet enhanced capabilities and demands.Routinely assigned some of the most challenging, critical and high valued designs. One of the more challenging designs was:A 12500 component, 38000 connections, over 1000 tuned 50 ohm single-ended and 100 ohm differential controlled impedance signals, mixed signal, blind-via, 16 layer Beamformer board.

Two challenging designs were hand-held ultrasound units:A University of Washington and DARPA project; a single 5"x 6" rigid-flex-rigid mixed technology, blind and buried via board, hand-held design for military triage on the battlefield.An 8"x 6" rigid board design for a single board laptop unit for the office obstetrics environment. (This was the original product for the spin-off company, Sonosite).

(Contract Position) Developed Intel based Parallel Processor Computers. Primary designer for the Quad P6 Processor Board for Sequent's new parallel processing computer.

(Direct Position) Formerly Honeywell Marine Division. Developer and manufacturer of deep ocean oil platform positioning systems and U.S. Navy torpedoes and torpedo systems for foreign militaries. Over 11 year with firm assigned to numerous technologically challenging projects and programs starting as a technician in the R&D modeling lab, moving into an engineering aide position for two major programs requiring extensive at-sea testing and eventually becoming

(Direct Position) Designer and manufacturer of power supplies, Vertical Scale Indicators (for first Space Shuttle), proximity and temperature sensors and fuel flow Systems. Production Technician responsible for testing and troubleshooting to component level.

Achieved rank of E-6 as an Avionics Technician in both aircraft level and intermediate level maintenance. Worked in both the EA-6B and P3 aircraft community in technical and supervisory positions. Held a Secret Clearance. Vietnam Veteran.
