• Brought on board as sole member of the new Professional Services group for the Southeast Region. Worked with counterparts in the other regional and corporate locations to establish procedures, terms and conditions, marketing information, job descriptions, tracking and reporting tools, and hardware and software tool kit definition.• Responsible for a team consisting of 3 Professional Services managers and approximately 20 billable resources spread out over a 10 state Southeast Region• Responsibilities included creation and management of the business plan (including personnel, resource, and revenue forecasting), salary planning and overall personnel management of the region. • As a Solutions Architect, I was responsible for pre-sales presentations, solution design and proposal creation in support of the sales team• Project types have included custom Spectrum network management consulting and implementations, multi-site WAN and LAN installations, integrating new active electronics (including routers, switches, firewalls, and other servers) with existing networks, network analysis and baselining, and custom network consulting and troubleshooting. • As a Solutions Architect, I was responsible for pre-sales presentations, solution design and proposal creation in support of the sales team. • Project management responsibilities for seven state region for both technical and business issues, assisted in pre-sales new business development, customer qualification, custom proposal generation, project planning, risk and opportunity assessment. These projects would consist of various combinations of infrastructure installations network integration (primarily active electronic configuration and server and desktop installation and migration), and network engineering (primarily network design and consulting).
