Lead year-round stewardship with individual and corporate donors; oversee all efforts to achieve annual giving goals; manage development department budget; oversee ad-hoc Cultivation & Event Board Working Groups; leverage CRM, Salesforce, for all fundraising tasks, including prospecting,cultivation, stewardship, reporting, and financial reconciliation; manage partner and donor events. JFCS In Your Neighborhood (IYN) and Our Closet powered by JFCS are mobile resource programs that bring high quality free clothing, fresh and shelf stable foods, and social services directly to high-need neighborhoods through partnerships with local organizations. As program manager, I developed partnerships with local social service organizations, educational institutions, public and private health clinics,churches and synagogues; I managed professional and volunteer staff in the successful implementation and evaluation of programming. I implemented our volunteer warehouse program which included open house as well as school and corporate volunteer days, in additional to frequent clothing drives.

Our Mission is Two-fold:1. To brighten the hospital experience for children and their families by matching pediatric patients with college student volunteers who provide fun, friendship, and support throughout hospital stays.2. To promote compassionate care in medicine and improve bedside manner, by fostering meaningful relationships between undergraduate healthcare students and hospitalized children.

I managed everything from hiring, training, management, writing newsletters and organizing events, to budgeting and accounting. During this time, I started a wholesale granola business and sold my product to markets such as the Weaver's Way Co-op. I am thrilled to watch the Cedars House change and grow under new leadership.
