I believe businesses can succeed through problem solving, employee advocacy, trust with clients and vendors, and taking action in uncertain circumstances. Life is unpredictable, and business even more so. How do I do this: I think outside the box. As COO of London Textiles that meant taking a loss on inventory to improve cash flow and moving locations to reduce overhead. I advocate for employees, the most important assets a company has. The more employees have your respect, the better they will perform. I nurture relationships. I don’t burn bridges. When I closed my business after 31 years, it was vital that I pay every bill I owed, close every contract I was involved in, and make sure that my most valued customers knew where to go for product. In turn I was able to connect with many of my previous vendors in my last position and they were more than willing to work together. I take ownership. I have been strongly committed to each one of my employers, as if their business was my own. I have been working in the Telecommunications industry for over 3 years, and this is where I'd like to stay.
