I bring over 27 years of experience in sport medicine, successfully rehabilitating everyone from the recreational athlete, to the “weekend warrior”, to the active population, to the elite athlete.After graduating from the University of Manitoba, I moved to Minneapolis and for 11 years worked in Sport Medicine, focusing my practice in the rehabilitation of post-operative shoulder rehab, and shoulder injuries, including rehabilitation of the Minnesota Twins, and Rehabilitation of the Runner, including video analysis. I have worked with many professional athletes, elite marathoners, and Ironman triathletes. This is also where I began my leadership journey! I participated in the Allina Leadership track, and was a Site Lead at Allina's busiest outpatient physical therapy clinic from 2005-2008.Making the move back home to Winnipeg in late 2008, I began working with orthopaedic surgeons to establish collaborative protocols. I also continued my goal directed program initiated in the US, designed for the rehabilitation of the runner from the newbie to the ultra-performer.I have spent the last decade as Director and Senior Therapist at the Sport Manitoba Clinic, growing empty space into an expanded fully functioning multidisiplinary clinic with seven different disciplines, and working for over three years to acquire XRay, which opened in 2019. I implemented every process within this clinic from equipment and layout, to building an incredible team of clinicians and support staff. I have now landed at Pan Am Rehab Services to join the collaborative team there! I opened an expansion clinic just 3km from our main site on Poseidon. I am the Clinic Lead at PARS-Pembina, and also the Business Development Lead for Pan Am Rehabilitation Services.
