Source over-spill or alternative/additional warehousing if required.• Challenge Supply Chain on level of stock holding/SKU complexity/batch sizes. Work with supply chain on stocking policies; in house, in network, direct supply.• Ensure 3PL have adequate DR and contingency plans in place.• Work with account teams to explore alternative delivery methods to drive cost savings and delivery improvements, rail groupage, consolidation.• Maintain network of other 3PL providers/couriers to act as contingency/alternatives.• Maintain contacts with key staff at other network depots to improve cost and delivery performance for the SN brand and customers.• Work with Supply Chain and warehouse teams to ensure inbound POs meet goods in requirements and inbound SLAs are met.• Highlight to the SN business key issues the 3PL is facing regarding; Staffing, unions, capacity of warehouse and network tonnage, site rules, health & safety.
