Over my 17+ years at Watkins Motor Lines, I held various leadership and technical roles in the areas of Data Center Infrastructure, Product Support, Computer Operations, and Production Control. I was part of the core team for planning and executing the Data Center relocation strategy. My mainframe technical skills included: MVS/JES2, code lifecycle management, event management and automation, batch scheduling, and restart management. In addition, I provided project manager support and deployed two enterprise report distribution systems and a mainframe batch restart system.

NCNB is now Bank of America. Duties were to monitor the master console, assist the CA-7 scheduler, control all output, and perform tape mounts. Trained all personnel and wrote documentation for operating the STK 4400 automated tape library.

Mass Brothers is now Macy's. As a Senior Operator I was responsible for running daily jobs, restarting jobs and IPL the IBM 3080 when needed. I was chosen to learn about and be part of the System/38 project. In addition, I operated two Wang VS-100 systems and NCR equipment.

Merged with Bank of New York. As a Senior Operator I was responsible for scheduling, documentation, the processing of daily jobs, and performing daily transmissions. Major projects included restructuring the developers test center and redesigned the tape library.

Roseland, New Jersey, Us

The Clifton NJ branch was the largest batch processing installation in the ADP network, serving over 15,000 company payrolls weekly. My responsibilities included controlling all of the input process, and output on the two critical payroll systems. In addition, I fixed any errors from previous shifts and performed all the "redo" work which required a full knowledge of all systems and processes within the environment.
