WHAT I DO: I have been providing warm hospitality to guests for nearly ten years now. Teaching guests about wine and wine tasting brings me much joy and pleasure. My care and attention has surely influenced customers not only to purchase bottles of wine, but to return time and again. Additionally, I guide, direct and motivate co-workers on busy Saturday.

WHAT I DID: Prior to working in the office of this boutique, hospitality-focused staffing agency, I occasionally worked for the company in the field. Some of the most memorable “gigs” I worked from 2012 were serving an elegant dinner in an manufacturing executive’s home; bartending at a “back to school” gathering for professors at an internationally.

WHAT I DID: In August 2012, I returned to the classroom feeling excited about the 1 to 1 computing program - a hallmark of the school. With much enthusiasm I obtained, organized & developed curricular materials for instruction, assessment & student learning activities. The first school - Bishop Hartley - initially had students on iPads & I had to quickly.

WHAT I DID: My first role with (then) Scholastic Read 180 led to the second, more expansive role. I began as a part time educational consultant in Columbus (Ohio) City Schools. I coached & developed more than 20 educators on the best use of this intricate literacy program. Success brought my promotion to the role of Program Manager - an on-site Customer.

WHAT I DID: I worked for a medium sized company that developed educational content for a wide variety of publishers. Prior to this role, I knew only the end product educational materials I implemented & sold. I’d reasonably assumed the Pearson materials I sold were created in-house. this is not always the case as there are many companies who “ghost write”.

WHAT I DID: I began by establishing a new sales territory for Religious & Independent schools in OH, IN, KY, PA and MI. I founded & fostered customer relationships as I sold digital courseware to this new, previously untapped market. After a company-wide restructuring, I was transferred to a Program Manager position in which I was essentially an on-site.

WHAT I DID: My first job after 8 years of teaching stretched me. In July 2001, my wife & I relocated from Austin, Texas to New York; I switched careers; our first child was born. One of these changes would be a lot. Two is tough. And three - my goodness! I’ve always been a quick study & there was much to learn as I began to sell textbooks to religious &.
