In a previous life, I was a Knowledge Management professional for many years. This included project and risk management experience, as well as a passion for understanding process and change. Since leaving an over two decades-long career in aerospace, primarily on the Space Shuttle Main Engine program at Rocketdyne, I have spent nearly eight of the last ten years working in the field of Decision Intelligence and Machine Learning.While not a data scientist by training, neither was I an engineer (and certainly not a rocket scientist.) Nevertheless, my lifelong passion for science and technology, as well as a thirst for continuous learning and systems thinking, translated into an ability to understand their relationships, and has positioned me nicely to be especially adept at recognizing where technology will benefit both business and society, as well as seeing where it can all go wrong.I am no longer seeking out organizations that are interested in using Machine Learning to improve the efficacy of their efforts or are looking for some assistance in identifying where it can be profitably put to use. I might be open to a special project, but probably not.
