I have been involved in the A/E industry for 18 years and continue to have the same passion for improving my knowledge of the design and technology as I did when I started.     I was hired as a Structural Technician. After 3 months I took on the AutoCAD Management duties as well as becoming the backup to the IT Manager. I was utilized in the MEP departments as needed when workload required. In 2005 I started investigating 3d modeling solutions and in 2006 joined the Revit Structure Beta program. In 2006 I became the BIM Manager for Arnold & O’Sheridan. In 2007 I transitioned to the Security Design Department as a designer/technician while retaining my role as BIM Manager. I used my skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Word, and Excel to increase the productivity and workflow of the department. More importantly, I had to opportunity gain new skills in the design and documentation of Physical Security and Information and Communications Technologies as related to Security Design. In 2013 with the departure of our full time IT Manager position I took on the role of IT Management along with my other duties.
