Rick McLain, AIA is a managing partner at Repp+McLain Design & Construction in Tucson, Arizona. He is a licensed architect in Arizona & Colorado. He is a rigorous designer with a passion for desert architecture, materials, craft, innovation, and thoughtful, modern design. His work has been published in a variety of regional and national publications. He received the 2017 AIA10 Award, the Alpha Rho Chi medal, in addition to numerous other awards for excellence in architectural design. He is the current Treasurer of AIA Southern Arizona, and past Secretary of AIA Arizona.Rick holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ) and a Master of Science from the Department of Architecture at MIT (Cambridge, MA).
