I worked in the Quality control department as a co-op, during which time I designed and built a Vane Turbine measurement and data collection system. This kinematic mounted digital device removed 100% of the human error previously inherent in the measurement process. Each measured data point was automatically downloaded to a data collection device which was later downloaded to the QC computer. Westinghouse currently owns this design and continues to use it in their vane measurement process.
