- Developing a method for polarity detection in opinions.A hybrid approach based on the application of lexical resources to machine learning was used in the feature selection phases, and ensembles were applied to optimally combine the output of the classifiers.It resulted in a system capable of detecting opinion polarity based on the domain with which the models were trained, with experimental evaluations yielding very promising metrics with respect to the literature.The solution was based on Python technology, with the help of technologies such as NLTK, Spacy, Numpy, Pandas, MatplotLib and Scikit-Learn. The field of action was sentiment analysis and the concepts of natural language processing and machine learning were explored in depth.
