As the industry leader for POS (e.g. Micros, Aloha, Harbortouch, etc.) integrated mobile payments for consumers and analytics driven marketing for merchants, Tabbedout is building on its current platform to transform the consumer experience within full-service hospitality. Tabbedout's mobile payments model powers a rich analytics platform for our merchants and Brand customers. In addition to empowering consumers to pay their tabs from their phone, this allows us to provide valuable on-premise insights, point-of-purchase engagement as well as highly targeted Offers based on actual sku-level purchase behavior. I also serve as a Director on the company's Board and lead the company’s business development activities targeting the largest alcohol and card payments brands.

I partnered with David Lemley in June 2009 to create Tabbedout . The core vision for the company is to enable consumers at bars and restaurants to open, view, split and pay tabs with a smartphone while providing merchants with a rich CRM to better know their customers.As Founding CEO at Tabbedout, I raised our Series A funding which was lead by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), hired an experienced executive team and set the vision for the company. In addition to its first mover advantage in a very face-paced and exciting new market, key to the early success of Tabbedout has been the deep technical partnerships and business relationships with the industry's leading point-of-sale (POS) vendors. It is through these early stage partnerships that we are allowed such unique insights into sku-level purchase behavior. As this was core to our strategy from the outset, I personally led business development for the POS partners, striking deals with the largest and most relevant to the success of Tabbedout’s model (Micros, NCR/ Aloha, FuturePOS, Agilysys, Dinerware and Focus).

Led all product efforts from definition to market launch for a new pre-paid processing platform as well as the supporting consumer, management, fulfillment and overall program management applications and tools from scratch.In addition to product responsibility, this leadership role required extensive international business development in multiple countries with some of the world's largest banks (e.g. Raiffeisen), card associations (Visa, Mastercard and Discover) as well as strategic distribution (Carrefour, InComm, Blackhawk) and consumer application partners.Worked with the CEO, fellow executive leadership and their respective teams to develop and successfully launch the first pre-paid platform of its kind in multiple markets such as Mexico, Romania, Kosovo and France.

Responsible for incorporating Wholesecurity's heuristic malware detection software into the Norton line of products including Norton 360, Internet Security, Anti-virus and Confidential. Collaborated with product and engineering teams to develop strategic OEM and retail partner relationships which ultimately yielded over 55 MM end-points using Wholesecurity's technology.

Responsible for product management and business development for Wholesecurity's one-of-a-kind heuristic malware detection product suite. Worked with sales and product teams to deliver world class enterprise security software to Fortune 500 companies, primarily financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, TD Ameritrade and Comerica.

As an early joiner (#48), I developed software and analyzed business processes for Fortune 500 clients as a consultant with Avanade. Developed business intelligence solutions using Visual Basic, .NET, SQL Server and host of proprietary enterprise-grade Microsoft technologies.
