Filterless was a company that combined IT and biological knowledge to solve complex problems. We were dedicated to developing software for biotech and pharmaceutical companies and research that increased the speed and efficiency of research and development.

At the department of Customer and Service I was part of the Architecture team, with my focus on the Customer Contact Center. I have developed the vision where the Customer Contact Center should be in 5 years, I have written Project Start Architectures, modelled baseline Architecture, involved with and executed innovations, part of the Technical Design Authority, aligned the architecture to government and global standards, with a special focus on the security of our online contact points.

Updated, edited, and improved an in-house Financial Data Analytics framework in Python.Created the Architecture for the framework from scratch.Successfully created a Machine Learning Algorithm to understand complex tax issues.Gave technical input for project proposals.

As an IT analyst in the department BUIT (Business Unit IT) my goal is to be the key person between the business (manufacturing departments) and the IT. I need to be able to understand the ideas and the direction the business is going towards and support it with the technological standards that are in the field.My main focus point was as a PI system administrator for the Janssen Biologics Leiden site until june 2016.From the start of 2016 I received the possibility to create different proposals for the improvement of the business regarding innovation, business analytics and IT. Some of these proposals were later implemented.Starting from june 2016 I was heavily involved in the data retrieval from our MES system for the Zer0 deviations project and for JJPS.At the end of 2016 I received my Six Sigma Yellow Belt for the creation of a server monitoring tool.

IDM is an in-house created tool of Janssen to track the genealogy of raw materials for one of our most important products: Remicade. As Global Platform Owner I am the responsible person of the software and need to manage a team that is located in the US and Leiden.

After my internship at BaseClear I joined the Study association Exon as the secretary - februari-july 2013 -because this looked like a great opportunity to enhance my skillset. From july 2013 to july 2014 I was elected as President. During my time at exon I helped to organise a symposium, multiple festivities for 150+ people, spoke with investors and helped other study associations start up.

When searching for an opportunity in my upcoming profession I found the research company ProQR Therapeutics. They needed help with their Next Generation Sequencing system and since this was my interest I started my work in may of 2013. During the 9 months of work I setup the server, created a NGS tool with a GUI, benchmarked the tool, wrote a SOP, made a workflow for future analysis and helped out with IT related software implementations.

At BaseClear I worked on a metagenomics project, where I had to build a pipeline with the best existing tools. I learned a lot about working on a server, Unix systems, the programming language Perl and how it is to work as a Bioinformatician.

At MicroSafe Laboratories I worked on a Celline Authentication kit and how to implement it into the company. I learned about how it is to work in a laboratory, to function in a small team of technicians, to work with GXP rules and how it is to work as a labtechnician.
