Meet with general contractors andbuilding owners to review estimates. Attend walk-throughs and pre bid meetings. Review allchanges and costs associated with ongoing projects. Review all landed projects withproject management team.

I was hired as an estimator in March of 2008 and was promoted to the position of chief estimator in January of 2009. As chief estimator for the Anaheim branch, I managed the daily operations of the estimating department. This included assigning projects to the estimators, reviewing all bids prior to submission, reviewing all bid invitations, meet with the Regional VP and VP of Estimating to discuss current work load and future needs. Networking with current GC's and potential clients to improve business development.

Represent Perini Building Company in meetings with the Designers and MGM to set budgets for the new venues for the City Center Project. Perform quantity take offs of the interior venues ranging from walls to themeing items. Manage the delivery of drawings and specs to the proper sub-contractors on a timely basis. Compare quantities and pricing of quotes provided by sub-contractors against my own quantities. Resolve any differences or concerns regarding the quote and/or budget with the proper representatives.

Manage the daily operation of the Estimating Department. Responsibilities include: Oversee the bidding process from invitation to bid submittal. Delegate bids for staffand myself to estimate; Follow-up with the client to secure work; Track all the submitted bids to formulate win percentages in order to meet budgetary guidelines; Meet with developers, owners, architects, etc., to initiate and form new client base; Review workload with Branch Manager on a daily basis; Facilitate Estimating Department meetings to discuss weekly assignments and follow-up on progress reports.
