Prior to his retirement at the end of 2012, Rick had been an integral part of the Cowan group of companies since 1987. During that time he had a progression of senior executive responsibilities leading to his last appointment to the role of President and CEO at Frank Cowan Company (FCC). FCC is a leader in Public Sector insurance in Canada, and has provided programs of insurance and risk management to hundreds of municipalities, health care facilities, educational institutions and related public entities since 1927.Since his retirement, Rick has been a Director at MTE Consultants Inc., where he was Board Chair for the five year period 2014-2018 until the completion of his term at the AGM in February 2019.
