Prior, I worked within the technology industry, with software vendors, for over twenty years, in a variety of sales focused customer-facing roles. It was an earlier era of unprecedented change, from mainframe processing to internet-enabled, smart devices. Vendors stopped selling products and began offering client-centric solutions. The game changed significantly, as did all the rules. My roles included direct sales and business dev functions, sales support, consulting, sales leadership, customer success, and organizational learning. Employers included Oracle, IBM, Intersolv, CA, Chubb, Kaplan, and several technology start-ups. These years taught me the lifecycle of change, the impact of organizational culture, the value of inclusive leadership, the benefits and detriments of shared norms, the utility of winning or losing, and the potential of resiliency to move individuals and organizations through resistance to acceptance, growth, and onward to achievement. You can count on me to challenge perspectives, expose limiting beliefs, explore values, query behaviors, expand ideas, prompt reflection, provide feedback, and deliver the coaching, training, support, or guidance to empower growth, ingenuity, resiliency, agility, well-being, and sustainable change.
