Manage the daily operations of the Outside Plant Engineers in the Commercial Fiber Drop Division. We are responsible for the construction of fiber optic plant to cellular telephone towers. This includes site walkouts for ROW construction and private property construction, Responsible for designing and building construction routes that are both cost effective and functional. Obtain land owner agreements, work with city, State and county officials to ensure the proper permits are obtained prior to construction. We are responsible for scheduling of in house and sub contractor work crews, inspection of completed work orders and billing.

Design and build fiber optics to cell towers throughout King County. Essential duties include safety, work order design and estimating. Scheduling, billing and quality control.

Responsible for managing all aspects of nationwide CableCURE telephone injections from inception to completion. This includes assisting with and approving job bids, attending pre-construction meetings, performing safety audits and final billing. Working with Sales I streamlined and improved efficiencies, including quicker contract turnaround time and reduced operations overhead costs. I worked effectively with Engineering to completely re-write the procedures manual providing detail to our operational and safety practices.

Part of the Safety and Training team. Responsible for providing training to licensees and performing operational audits.

Responsible for managing all CATV & telephone areas of the outside plant, I & R, construction and engineering. I was part of a team that worked on mapping the entire exchange to get the plant records up to date and on a mapping system.

Responsible for managing all CATV & telephone aspects of outside plant operations including I & R, construction, safety, fleet, engineering & purchasing. Prepared budgets, performed annual reviews, managed subcontractors, performed cost analysis on work orders to ensure that they were completed within budget.

Worked as an I & R technician in Baytown, TX for one year then became a C-splicer. I transfered to Kirkland, WA in 1985 and had to take an I & R position. After 3 years I was able to get back into splicing. Duties included fiber splicing and building T1's to Microsoft and other businesses.
