As a young boy, I watched my dad become frustrated while attempting to operate the VCR with a remote control. He came from a different time and place, and frankly, things just moved a little slower back then. The information age has given change the green light; thus, allowing both challenges and opportunities to come faster and more frequently than ever before. So it’s no surprise that our ability to manage change has become so significant in both life and business. It took some time, but nowadays, my dad uses his smart-phone to call, email, text, grocery shop, and even check-up on college football scores. For a guy who had a hard time hitting the "system on/off" button, he's come a long way. I’m glad he turned the corner, but I often wonder if the business world has kept pace as well.Any business is comprised of an integrated system of people, processes, and technology; however, it takes resilient and adaptable leadership to manage change and make it all work. For over 20 years, I’ve led diverse organizations, both in the US and overseas, to overcome obstacles and increase productivity. I enjoy helping organizations reach optimal levels of performance by navigating the challenges of the modern business environment.
