I‘m a results orientated Licensed Architect able to solve complex architectural problems and manage people, schedules, budgets, and multiple responsibilities. I lead project teams throughout all phases of architectural projects and coordinate design teams including staff, consulting engineers and other specialists.If you review my profile, you’ll see that I have worked on various project types, including multifamily residential, custom single family residential, hotels, conference centers, restaurants, retail, office, industrial, institutional, educational, museum, municipal, medical, and veterinary clinics. I have the ability to run projects with construction budgets into the tens of millions of dollars. One of my passions is for historic architecture, including restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and sympathetic additions to historic buildings. One of my favorite types of projects is designing new construction for infill into historic areas, trying to be compatible with the existing historic fabric. By working on a variety of historic projects, I have gained extensive knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standard for the Treatment of Historic Properties and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. My experience has also allowed me to meet the National Park Service’s qualifications to be a Historic Architect per 36 CFR Part 61. I also have experience in federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credit projects, preparation of historic structure reports, feasibility studies, masonry restoration and cleaning.
