When you're pushing 60, there's s mixed blessing to having been exposed to a wide variety of personal and professional experiences. One hand, you've learned a lot of stuff. On the other hand you've forgotten a lot of stuff.I've always loved writing and teaching. If I really want to pass on some of what I've learned over the years I figured I better start writing more before I forget it all. In addition to helping small businesses make more sense out of their sales and marketing efforts, I'm devoting most of my time to sharing thoughts, lessons and ideas with anyone who cares to listen. In addition to my blog, Rick Said It, I'm in the process of publishing e-books on a wide variety of topics. Most will be fairly short and inexpensive. My goal isn't to become a famous author, merely to commit thoughts that are in my head to a more permanent medium. My first e-book, 50 Shades of Rock and Roll was released on Amazon in December, 2012. It's done well and I'll be publishing it on other sites in April, 2013.Some of the other books to be released in coming months include: a history of TV from the 1940s until now, how to sell your house for the best price in the least time and a book of simple life lessons to pass on to your children.
