Responsible for leading regional outreach, recruitment and strategic initiatives that drive greater awareness and participation in workforce education programs like apprenticeship, pre- apprenticeship, and micro-credentials. Develops and implements strategies and programs to increase participant engagement and success in workforce education programs. Works with Center leadership on effective recruitment strategies, outreach, and engagement with our underserved communities.

• Created a strategic plan to direct and develop all components of the district’s extracurricular, intramural and athletic programs including scheduling, transportation, equipment and insurance claims• Provided the CEO and CFO with a three to five-year budget forecast to project fiscal management and responsibility for ten middle school programs feeding two high schools. (Restored the entire athletic department at Youngstown Chaney High School and the East High Golden Bear mascot). • Created a three-year capital improvement plan for facility improvements that include new weight rooms, gym floors, turf installation & scoreboard projects. • Designed, selected, bid and oversaw installation of new performance facilities at both East & Chaney 180K. Designed art work for game floors at both East and Chaney. • Direct and organize the physical education department including the planning of all professional developments, selection and placing physical education and athletic department personnel, Including oversite of Elementary swim program at the Downtown YMCA. • Collaborated with administrators to create manuals and operating procedures including job descriptions, expectations and personnel evaluations to guide the actions of new hires and supplemental personnel. Include catastrophic Emergency plans for all athletic facilities as part of game management policy and procedures. • Collaborated with principals and guidance counselors to align District course offerings with the NCAA Reporting Center.• Instituted the first study zone program for all athletes, monitoring academic performance, Proposed Virtual Platform using APEX to increase the number of course offerings, AP opportunities, credit recovery, remediation and SAT Prep.• Proposed final forms, a digital platform that provides cloud storage for all student forms and allows for digital signature for parents for all documents that require permission.

• Provide the vision and direction for an NCAA Division III College Athletic Department. Including the implementation of Department Philosophy, the budgeting process, capital investment, facility maintenance, equipment, supplies, transportation, and facility management.• Represent the Athletic Department at all PAC, ECAC and NCAA Administrative Functions.• Evaluated and selected quality candidates for department hires. Developed, supervised and retained staff of 16 Head coaches for 19 sports and approximately 75 assistant coaches including support staff for event management. • Coordinated contest schedules for more than 650 student athletes, ensuring compliance with guidelines set forth by the PAC and the NCAA, including care and rehabilitation through athletic training department.• Created the first Athletic Department Manual, which defined all procedures and protocols for all Athletic Department personnel.• Developed and implemented a comprehensive plan for athletic facilities, contest management, security, and post- event facility maintenance.• Led construction project for the Universities first turf installation at Wiley Stadium. • Researched companies, developed specifications for the project. Was instrumental in the selection of the installation company and turf company, and managed the construction project. • Purchased recruiting software program for the entire athletic department that enables text, twitter, Facebook and email saving the department thousands of dollars in paper products and postage.• Coordinated relationship between Head Athletic Trainer and Head of Strength and Conditioning department, to develop 5 key areas: speed and explosion, core/ balance/ function, flexibility, injury prevention, and weight training concepts. Ensured proper care and rehabilitation of athletes.• Develop a cohesive recruiting strategy, to attract 150 of the best possible student athletes to Waynesburg University football program

Massillon Washington High School is a city school located seven miles west of Canton, Ohio. A traditional football power with twenty two state championships, participating as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Asociation in Division I. Key Duties:• Responsible for the development and implementation of the athletic department philosophy, reporting directly to the Superintendent of Schools and Board of Education. • Developed a five year fiscal plan to manage the budget and spending practices. • Managed the athletic department fiscal plan, capital improvement plan, facility maintenance, equipment, supplies, transportation, and fund raising. • Direct involvement in all staff hiring and evaluations within the athletic department. • Supervised more than 500 student athletes, composing 37 teams, participating in 19 sports programs. • Represented the athletic department at all state and county proceedings. Developed contest schedules and hired all officials and event personnel. • Supported coordination of game management with ticket office, administration, grounds crew, security and all game day workers to prepare for average attendance of 12,000 per game. • Coordinated public relations, press releases, and promotions with local media outlets, which included The Massillon Independent, Massillon Cable, WTIG Radio Massillon, and WHBC Radio Canton.• Weekly responsibilities included: Saturday morning radio show, Monday night Booster Club meetings, Tuesday Touchdown Club Luncheon, Thursday TV Show taping.

Learned to use De-Escalation techniques in the classroom with a focus on "Conflict Resolution". Built a great understanding of how to identify issues in the classroom involving mental health and wellness, and how to assist students in overcoming anxiety.

Dealt with critical health issues of the day in a high school health classroom serving 9th-12th grade students. Brought relationship and team building concepts into an interactive environment with a focus on behavioral psychologists, including Maslow, Erikson, and Piaget. Exposed students to the Kersey temperament sorter, and behavioral psychologist's Like Maslowe, Piaget, & Erickson, to plant the seeds for greater understanding of how to get along with all people.
