As a Scrum Master:I led all Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, show and tell/demos, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives). In addition to managing and facilitating all agile ceremonies, and more important to the success of the scrum team, I removed impediments, and taught and coached the team on Agile Scrum methodology.I reduced the risk associated with our scrum team dependencies and increased the confidence level of the team during sprint planning by documenting the process for engagement of interfacing teams and coordinating the schedules for stories with dependencies with interfacing teams prior to product increment and sprint planning sessions. This resulted in a higher confidence level for the product increment, quicker time to market for software development, an estimated 6% increase in team velocity, and an additional $60,000 of software development deployed.I collaborated with the team to identify opportunities for improvement during sprint retrospectives and assisted the team in actioning items for improvement in future sprints improving scrum team velocity by an estimated 4% and providing an additional $40,000 of software changes implemented.I collaborated with the team to align on a suitable time for daily scrums which considered and accommodated the needs of all team members resulting in increased team morale.I addressed a shortage of testing resources by learning to use the application and testing for the team freeing up developers to focus on development stories/tasks which resulted in an estimated 5.5% increase in team capacity, 5% increase in velocity, and $50,000 of additional software development for the product.
