Supported Document Management System written in Java 6 deployed using JBOSS with an Oracle Database. The system employs a modified SOA using the SAX parser. Designed and built prototype system to produce life insurance policy pages in distributed (Java, XML, Oracle, JDBC) environment to replace MVS policy pages system. Redesigned PL/SQL procedures to be called from Java.

Supported and developed systems to facilitate booking and operation of guided motor coach tours. Developed and maintained Micro Focus COBOL programs deployed in a UNIX environment using ORACLE and indexed files

Performed testing for several releases of Prepaid Card system. The multiplatform Prepaid system used Non-Stop SQL (Tandem) as the database of record and replicated data to SQL Server for the browser based UI. Tested MVS reports, VRU (Voice Response Unit) system, and browser based UI and reports. Used sqlci and Enterprise Data Manager to query database contents.

Supported and developed corporate payment card systems. Translated Java methods to COBOL for tolerance validation in automated order matching process. Designed and developed automated order matching process (COBOL/DB2). Designed, built, and tested file encryption/decryption process (COBOL) using Triple DES algorithm. Designed, built, and tested monthly process (COBOL/DB2) to aggregate travel data for web based reporting. Designed, built, and tested international corporate payment card system (COBOL/DB2).

Led team of 5 which enhanced and maintained employee remote access portal. Coordinated migration of Java servlet applications from Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6 (JRUN servlet engine) to iPlanet Web Server 4.1. Designed and deployed monitoring plan to improve availability of remote access portal. Installed and configured SiteScope monitoring software on multiple eCommerce servers. Assigned to fix problems and accomplish critical tasks not being completed by regular development groups.
