He has worked around the world with a variety of companies working in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, and publishing.Rick's current focus is on supporting the energy transition, helping companies adapt and thrive in conditions of uncertainty and increasing complexity. This work includes transforming our current energy systems into cleaner and more sustainable resources while at the same time creating and implementing new and regenerative systems that provide the energy needed for a world that works for everyone.He has worked on projects all over the world, and has developed a deep respect for cultural diversity, searching for ways to align interests toward common goals while honoring differences.Rick's interests have been deeply multidisciplinary: He has studied philosophy, psychology, complex systems theory, postmodernism, developmental theory, cultural studies, change and transformation, and spirituality. He was a founding member of the Integral Institutes in Boulder, Colorado in 1999.
